Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

New Badging Services Offered

In light of this, I see a small business opportunity. https://www.foxbusiness.com/lifestyle/coffee-badging-job-trend-business-leaders-high-alert.

I'd pay $5.00 a week to have my badge swiped. I might even be willing to drive to an office if I had 4 others I could swipe at the same time. An extra $20 a week.

"I am currently on hold on an AT&T support number for 70 minutes."

I have the best results with all large corporations, telecomm, internet, airlines. insurance companies... using live chat. It's not just AT&T who doesn't answer the phone.
Digital First" as Randall used to say.

Try using SmartChat. Try using IMST 22 state ENOC to clear a ASE trouble. You will change your tune real quick.

Mr Stankey please ask someone in wireless how often they change emergency batteries in cell towers or test cell tower emergency generators.

I don't care, nor does Stankey. The cell site can run on battery power until the batteries are depleted. (Just a few hours, the batteries are old) Do not ask me to hustle the portable genset from one side of town to the other, trying to compensate for Stankey's failures.

Can you not answer a phone call phone company?

Wasteful spending on hundreds of VP ideas is ok even though we scrap them all half finished and move to the next sweetheart deal for some vendor. Spending money on daily operations and costumer service? That is wasteful and they are trying hard to remove those expenses. That is why it’s so hard to deal with AT&T. Mr Stankey please ask someone in wireless how often they change emergency batteries in cell towers or test cell tower emergency generators. Let’s at least do the minimum for the customers we can’t responsibly go below that. Surely your not leaving that problem for the next guy? We need that service in emergency’s.

The only people tracking your compliance are the busybodies who stand in the breakroom all day and gossip about who they see leaving early.

People who have work to do don't care about what other people are doing. Not my job to care.

If you're snoring at your desk, that's your manager's problem.

I am currently on hold on an AT&T support number for 70 minutes. "All representatives are still busy answering other customers calls". I hate AT&T with the power of 10,000 suns. As a customer AT&T is giant customer hating company. I move all services from AT&T when possible. He-l Sprint was better than this. Can you not answer a phone call phone company?

the thing to remember is the powers that be read this site.

so while its helpful to know what can be gotten away with, its also potential for them closing the loophole.

gotta collaborate at the water cooler, so you can learn how to not have to rto.
collaboration FTW

That’s funny, because my boss is never in the office.

Again badge swipes are being tracked but it's up to the HRBP and that BU to enforce the policy.

“They track your badge swipes and whether you're on LAN or VPN. If you have a COU likely also monitoring your location.“

People at all levels of companies and organizations are busy with their own jobs, so they don’t have time to keep tabs on everyone else’s whereabouts

This is absolutely not true of this company. They have systems in place to monitor (and alert) if you're not following policy (whether or not someone will do something about it is another thing). They track your badge swipes and whether you're on LAN or VPN. If you have a COU likely also monitoring your location.
