You know what succcs? Is the fact that XOM is not only kicking our buddees in traditional energies these days, but also in new energies. New energies is Mr mikeepoos thing to help keep FROM loosing the BOD seats he needs to maintain control. XOM lost 3 seats, and they are now in high gear……..kicking us in the teeth in returns on traditional energies but also in week by week by week press releases on what they are doing in new energie business lines……..they are now sooooo favored over us. We are getting our budts kicked b/c Mikeopoo is so darn stubborn thinking his way of 20 years past will be the way today. BOD - WAKE YOUR SELVES UP AND MANAGE THIS SITUATION WITH MW AND THE ELT. DO YOUR JOB OR RISK THE NEXT ATTACK BY OUTSIDES TO TAKE YOUR BOD SEATS.

That’s not what’s important. Didn’t you see the company-wide ESG-posturing email? Chevron is designated as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality.”

@tvv, correct. Exxon and Shell are concerned with business results, Chevron is concerned with political correctness. No surprise these companies out-recruit us year after year.

I never would have believed it but Exxon is schooling us on the energy transition. They dominated at COP28 and we weren't even invited. They may be late to the game, but once Esso decides to do something, they do it in a big way to win.
Exxon and Shell are genuine technology companies with effective research arms. Chevron is a Mickey Mouse research company in comparison (something Wall Street “technology analysts” don’t understand)
