People are dululu. He didn’t come here to be our buddies. He came here to get it cleaned up and the efficiency ratio in better standing. If you go read other banks sites it all sounds the same. If people don’t like it, they can go else where. Or they can wait it out

I have zero interest in expressions of gratitude if they can’t be deposited in my bank account. I’m here for the money and nothing else. DEI pandering, yoga sessions in the courtyard, emailed seasonal greetings, fluff, balloons, glitter—just spare yourselves the effort.

You don't have to wonder any longer. From reading all of the comments here so far it is easy to see this CEO is very despised. This is to all of the commenters: Do any of you seriously think that this CEO cares a single iota about being "universally loathed by everyone"? Just by hearing his actions on a Town Hall you know he is simply content with making his $Millions and when the time is right moving on to the next gravy train that comes along. Employees? Hah, let them eat cake!
