If you are concerned, you should ask about layoffs during the next Town Hall. You can email the question in advance.

Until Mr Farley says anything even remotely close to implying that layoffs are happening, I will continue to rest easy.

Our profits were through the roof. Our company is very secure.

Farley has to do cost cutting before earnings release on February 6th so he can show he is doing something. UBS downgraded stock to neutral, pointed out all the problems of which we are well aware (quality, debt, lack of EV sales).

This is why there are the race car driving, Kelly Clarkston and any other topic they can think of to send out press releases about to distract from their abysmal performance.

@vzt+1qC0RQdr. There isn't anything hard about making the necessary workforce adjustments. Just get rid of anyone from GSR up to CEO who does not recognize the Ford+ transformation for the steaming pile it is.

Things got worst when we did away with the cross-team calibration process. Easier to hide from accountability.

Ford has a performance review process. A decent company would follow their own PR process when deciding who to fire and who to keep. There would be no surprises. But, they don’t.

Why do they go through the charade of performance reviews when the output is disregarded anyway? Seems like a colossal waste of people’s time.

There is nothing wrong with Ford leadership making hard and necessary workforce adjustments to better deliver Ford+ transformation. It is just part of today's business climate.

@iry's comment is based on observation, and this does look suspicious.

But, where does OP's 2/5 date come from? That looks like pure speculation.

I was thinking they do something right after performance evaluations are done.

That's later than I thought. I was thinking Jan. 29th.

It's definitely brewing. The LL4s+ have been non-existent, just like they were before the last several layoffs.

I'd volunteer if the package is decent.....
