We’ve lost a ton of tech knowledge and expertise from the Boomer displacement / retirement wave… so much that it’s no longer possible to revamp technology.
I left of my own accord after decades of 60 hour weeks. I’m well aware of so many technology decisions that are only known as limited tribal knowledge.
The knowledge drain of application architects is now unsurmountable.

Part of that comment is untrue.. won't say which because I'm not giving myself up
75 onshore operations, 10 broker dealer support, and 5 MCS support. Most if not all of the work is moving offshore. STOP putting in overtime and going above and beyond for this company. Managers will only keep their favorites. Webo got maybe three years top before everything is gone offshore. The writing is on the walls people.
