Badge swipes

Has anyone actually received a call or email for not being in the office 3 days? What happens on your "first offense"? Do they check the time the badge was swiped?

Received a warning email in late November. Had to certify that I would comply from now on, but I can't even go back to look at what I submitted. We don't get told when the monitoring periods are, so we can't plan time off accordingly. It's like being back in elementary school, and having a faceless truant officer put a mark in your permanent record. And try to find this Workplace Excellence policy ANYWHERE on bank web sites. Let us know if you find it.

I do go into the office 3 times a week usually but I've had some personal issues come up and have had to take time off work. I can work the other days. It's just been an inconvenience that they cant be from home. I've been told that if any time off is taken, those count the same as WFH days since there is no badge swipe for that day.

@6pbs+1qDI1IjO 1/2 is not wrong. You had until November 27th 2023 to respond to the workplace excellence survey. Option 2 was that you will comply with RTO but you need 3 weeks which will take you to the last 2 weeks of December which weren't tracked. The most logical conclusion is that official tracking started on Jan 2nd 2024.

Whoever said they just started looking 1/2 is very wrong. First step is email asking you to read a statement and acknowledge you will go in. If you immediately don’t start hitting 3 days after that, you are at risk of a letter of education in your personnel file.

So if they have only started tracking from 1/2 and you have to comply 4 out of 6 weeks, you should have gotten a warning by now if you missed all 3 weeks. If you missed only 2 weeks, you are fine as long as you do the 3 days for the next 4 weeks.

In other words, "if you're already letting some people work remotely, you can't force your local employees to come into the office to justify your lease expense," he explains. "You need to have a consistent, clear policy, and give employees fair access to the same benefits, otherwise, they'll vote with their feet."

No. 1 day a week is expected at all banks. That’s it.

I was told the reports only show if you swiped your badge. Time of swipe is not reflected.

The phone calls being made were a warning to act, the next phases are formal & termination
Good luck

Scroll down and see the letter that was posted. Then go into the office 3 days a week.
