Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Union Pressure?

I have heard some chatter that branches seeking to unionize have been pressured not to do so. Just a reminder that interfering in union activity is illegal and whoever is pressuring branches, or tearing down signs or using intimidation tactics should realize that he/she can lose their job, aside from penalties. If Wells Fargo doesn't want unions, then create an atmosphere that truly engages employees. Union involvement means employees don't trust Wells Fargo. So, relay the message that the National Labor Relations Board can get involved if this type of antiunion behavior persists.

No one expects someone from a union to "care" about employees the same way they care about their families.

It's not about "caring", it's about doing their job. As long as the union does their job by way of securing better conditions, then they've succeeded.

No one needs a union to emotionally care. They just need the union to do their bargaining job.

The anti-union crowd will eventually see those better conditions are...better. They'll see how foolish they were fighting against their own interests for so long.

Unions, like corporations, exist for one purpose only, to create power for those at the top. Unions care about their members just as much as corporations care about their employees. We are all just a means to an end, useful tools in na--d power grabs.

You are a number on a spreadsheet. Sooner you understand that the better. All one can hope for these days is that you can work for a great leader who will do their best to shield you from corporate and labor union nonsense.

Perhaps the branch employees are discovering on their own that da union isn’t really working in their best interests. Da unions are mostly in it for da union and not all the workers.

RTO has absolutely nothing to do with branch employees who have always had to come in to do their work.
You are tone deaf!

There will never be any trust so long as RTO remains.
