Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

I'm so much happier since I left

I just wanted to stop by here once again and tell you that there are so many great options outside of L3. In the three months since I've been gone, my life has improved drastically. I have more free time as I don't have to work more than the usual 40 hours, my mental health is better since the culture is not toxic, and I enjoy what I do. Even if you're not planning to quit, just look at what's available. You might stumble into an opportunity that'll improve your life.

Recently retired. My BP dropped as well. Your health is worth it. Management is off the rails.

@4rpi+1qH0VOb2 you have nothing to worry about. you were not hired for your talent. you were hired so the company can check off a box. the old white people are there to do the work that you can sign off on and get paid for. relax.

Anyone have recommendations of somewhere else in UT/ID/WY (or even full remote options)? I fear "Grass is greener on the other side" syndrome, meaning it always isn't greener. Any big company in today's environment will have deadly/worthless DEI and ESG...

My blood pressure dropped over 10 points the week after I left. It’s getting better day by day.
