Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

No review scheduled yet

I haven't been in my current dept for years, so I'm not sure what the norm is.

But with fewer than 2 weeks until the big 2/2 check, it seems weird that I haven't had my annual review scheduled yet.

Why don't you ask your manager?
Same reason most people here don't. Lack of trust. The question wouldn't be answered at face value, and I don't feel like feeding the "I now have something to hold over your head for a couple weeks" machine here.

The longer it goes on, the longer I'm assuming I'm the team's sacrificial lamb to get the inconsistently meets rating.

The rating itself I don't care that much about (even though I'd call b s on receiving it). It's what the rating does to your bonus (cuts it in half?).

I'm in CSBB (not branch). Anyone else still not have their review even scheduled yet?

I really wish Wells could get its 💩 together on basic things.

Seriously, all your manager. The timelines for reviews are published and available to all. If you are really that worried about asking a very simple question then you are not in a good spot. Much bigger problems than the timing of your review.

Mine chooses to do it as one meeting versus two, so it will happen late this week or early next week.

That happened to me last year and GOOD NEWS— I got the only Exceeds rating on my team—plus the biggest merit increase and bonus of my tenure. Wishing you the best!

I’m a manager, I find that I tend to do the harder reviews first, but then I’m also finished delivering all of mine. Maybe you are an easy one and they are saving the best for last? For what it’s worth, my boss hasn’t done mine yet either.

Don't worry they have time until 31st, they might be busy or just dreading it, some people don't like giving reviews

So much good info in the thread but non-sense in the OP. Only dude I’ve met who wants more random meetings with their manager instead of just waiting for one and done.

Stop being a pu--y, take ownership and reach out to your manager

your manager will do it as they have time. they just have to do it by EOM, so chill out. Perhaps they are waiting until your next 1:1, maybe until comp is approved and released on 1/24, regardless try not to worry to much about it. my manager emailed me my review and asked if I wanted to have a conversation about it, so was up to me

Mgrs have until 1/31 to give EOY reviews.

Email send to all employees w/that end date clearly outlined, and EOY review timeline w/that date posted on Teamworks.

Some managers are waiting for the merit and bonus information to come out before scheduling the performance review. It’s easier to have one call to discuss both than two calls.

Mine is during my next 1:1 after the 24th, but that because they can't give you the $$ until after that date.

My manager just scheduled our team’s reviews in Friday last week for M-W this week. Hope that helps.
