Clearly Cisco employees still don't know how to use "the Google" to see how this has been answered here repeatedly for half a decade. What about that makes you deserving of a year's salary for doing nothing? Even 60 years ago the best most could hope for was a watch.
2017: Took the LR, took a long hike on the Appalachian Trail, then came back working for a company that had two large Cisco contracts. Then left that company, went back to Cisco as a Red Badge. Lasted about two months as red badge, then had enough.
Gound Hog Day? Nope. For me it was Ground Hog Two Years.
Spend another billion on ER, the company already spent 24B, what is another one?
So now he gets to be sacked as a red badge.
I have someone on my team who "retired" and came right back to the same team as a red badger.

Nice that would be but not a chance. It backfired on the company last time when excellent employees “retired” very early with a very big LR package. Some of them were only early in their mid-fifties picking up 150-200k packages and working for a competitor after the minimum period.
