I'm still here only because I've been waiting to see if I can get severance. I've been here long enough to merit a decent sum and I don't want to pass up that opportunity if I don't have to. But if I'm still here after this round, I'm not sure I'll have it in me to wait any longer. I will most likely leave within a few months.

With me volunteering to leave isn't going to save anybody. It will just put me on top of the list. We were already told our department is sc--wed. We just don't know how fast they are going to get rid of us. Everybody has different situations and this one in particular causes a lot of stress and anxiety with the whole group. The bank does not care about us as people. They will use us and then throw us to the curb.
Why don’t you “Managers” get a set of ba--s and say no. Stand for something if you don’t believe in the direction of this dump.
As a manager, VOLUNTEER. we would much rather have people that are willing to leave a an option as opposed to putting someone out of a job that genuinely needs it
So why not volunteer to be let go ? None of you that say this repeatedly on here make sense. Why let someone else hit a list you so badly want to be on? Volunteer and move on
At the very least you get two weeks per year here right? Or did they get rid of that policy
You’re going to wait a very long time before you get severance. You’ll need to be in the Executive Suite to get an employment contract which defines your package and severance agreement.
It’s an admirable goal though… good luck to you.
