RTO and WFH have NOTHING to do with any of this. If you think being in the office makes it harder for them to get rid of you ….. you are delusional. RTO is about protecting value of commercial real estate, that’s it.
Sad to say, but it's a dying company. They have eliminated half it's workforce in the past decade.
Look around. We need more cuts, no?
That number include the employees that went over to HCL, approx 5k
WFH is making it easier to outsource more calls than ever, resulting in a decrease need for manpower. We need employees to put Verizon as top priority, not getting the kids to there activities or the second job. RTO is a must otherwise we won’t have a job.
