Keep Calm and Carry On

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

When I saw the title it reminded me of this chorus from GWAR's cover of Kansas' "Carry on Wayward Son":

Carry on my worthless son
Get off the g--d--- couch and get a g--d--- job
Here's my foot, there's the door
Don't you cry, don't you cry no more

If you don't want to end up on the couch be proactive about your next job jump.

I was LR-ed last year. My life is much better now. Less stressed. The severance package allowed me to take a break.

Thank you for this. The attitude of gratitude :) Even if we get let go, we can be grateful for what we were given. If we are not let go, we can be grateful and remember those who were let go. Life is too short to hate.

Embrace the turbulence to alter what's within reach.

The timidity to leave the unchangeable's breach.

And in ignorance, let the boundary blur, a serendipitous surrender, where chaos may confer.
