$1000 cash payout

Surprised I didn’t see anyone already discussing Charlie’s announcement. Obviously an attempt to appease the disgruntled folks unionizing, but I’m not sure a one time payout will actually address the problems in the branches those folks are upset about.

Also: I think the whole damn company deserves a little something for the psy ops we have dealt with for the past few years.

It's incredible how many people are getting this that respond with some version of "oh man, I'm gonna have to pay a bunch in taxes now". 😐 Most people getting this are in the 12% or 22% tax brackets, and actually pay a much lower rate than that. So at the end of the day, the employee probably gets $850-950 out of it, but they act like it's a pay CUT. I hate the income tax too, but come on people. We need more people attending those financial education presentations because we have thousands of employees that have no idea how any of this works.

@fez, there are some known issues with the smart distribution lists not including everyone who should be included on communications. It’s happened in CSBB and was rolled up to get it corrected. Perhaps this is your case?

This reminds me of that line from Trading Places with a young Eddie Murphy when the Duke brothers give a Christmas “bonus” to one of the servers in their private club…”$5.00……maybe I’ll go see a movie…by myself!!”

I'm not sure if it answers your question on getting bonus if you didn't receive email. We had some in our lob get the email and some that did not. The only difference is the ones who didn't get it, don't meet the eligibility, potentially .So, performance review, etc is considered .The email shared those details but If you didn't get it, how would you know? So, I hope that helps answers the question on why some people got it and some didn't. Might have to ask a manager

This also affects bonus-eligible employees who are receiving under $85k total. So my peer is receiving it, but I'm not since i make significantly more (that's not a complaint or a flex, just using our case as an example).

@qvr+1qK9Bq41 Who cares? It’s $1000 for those who otherwise aren’t bonus eligible. Give it to them no questions asked. And if $75k isn’t a livable wage someone is doing it wrong.

If your annual salary is less than $75k and your total compensation is less than 85K (along with 2 other criteria as linked in the teamworks article) you are likely eligible.

If CS gets a $10 million bonus, you are getting one hundredth of one percent of his bonus

If this is true it su-ks for me, as I don't get a bonus and I make slightly over $75,000.

Just a reminder. Make sure to read the eligibility requirements (hyperlink was at the bottom of the email). Long and short is if you got anything under a “Meets”, then no dough. Convenient.🤫

I really don't understand the downvotes on my earlier comment. I just want information. I don't understand why no one on my team received the e-mail, though we all make under $75k. We've heard other teams at our site talking about it this week. We would ask our manager but he has been out on PTO. Was it only for certain groups? If anyone could provide some additional context or information about why a whole team wouldn't receive the e-mail, we'd like to hear! Thank you

Funny, I should be eligible because I make under $75k a year, but no one on my team, including myself, has received the e-mail about this.

Truth is they should get it every year - those are the toughest jobs but honestly how about just RAISE THEIR SALARY. Oh yeah because then you have to do it every year.

Means testing now, do better. These policies divide people, leaves bad taste, feelings, say what you will. Everyone at whatever income level have pride or busted their butts. Getting away from merit based will be the downfall of companies, America, country.
