@2mwq+ LL6s don't have the power to make that decision.

GSRs are at higher risk. LL6's can terminate you, and get an agency replacement for 1/2 the cost, the next week.
Nothing matters other than FnF. Are you a member?
Hacket at least had it correct that there is too many LL6's and got rid of all the useless overhead.
Now the company went on a hiring spree for more Chiefs without any more Indians.
In addition we now have dual chiefs and dual directors, a great case study for any MBA students. Like the cartoon of a rowboat full of managers directing and yelling at the one rower "harder, faster, more...". Amazing we don't have a shareholder revolt due to the millions we pi-s away on the multimillion dollar salaries spent on so much executive management. I challenge anyone in the company to write down the names of the vice presidents in your own region, then go look in the organizational chart to do a comparison on how many you missed !
Lucky for me we are down to one LL6, although to get any value added work done we need to completely ignore him 100%. He is really more a hinderance than any help throughout his time spent misleading his team.
Agreed, TS are at risk due to no direct reports plus higher salary than GSRs. Engine got rid of a bunch of TS's a while back.
My observation from past layoffs, GSRs are more at risk than LL6. Among LL6, TS are usually the easy targets. Those LL6 who do not have direct report under them are also at risk. Just my observations.
Cost is key. They will hide this with demographics and sacrifice some lower paid/younger employees. I saw some really good people get let go last year because of cost. I also saw promising younger employees get let go because they were in organizations that had these higher cost employees. It had nothing to do with job performance; they actually kept the worst employee for demographic reasons. It’s demoralizing but the upper echelon is clueless when it comes to this aspect. It gave a lot of people (including myself) apathy. Why care anymore if one day you can be doing your best and the next day you are gone. They have successfully broke the culture of merit. Always look at the outcome not the means to get there. The outcome is always the true goal. They have successfully created a workforce that is dispensable, no different than a commodity, in an attempt to lower cost. However, they lost something that is priceless and will never be recovered. This is creating disastrous results for the company. Leadership will never admit a mistake or fight for what’s right, group think dominates their day to day. They think mandatory quality training can recover what was lost over the years, this is how foolish they truly are.
“My team has more LL6 than GSRs!”
Sounds like your team is part of the problem.
