It’s scheduled for Jan 30th. Growth is predicted. What will that mean for us? How many people were laid off last year? Around 9000? Should we expect layoffs after the earnings call? I am worried. Economy doesn’t look good, there are not many opportunities on the job market. Possibility of losing a job now, with these costs, is a dire prospect.

Haha, not a merchandiser here, sales rep! Funny thing is, sales reps are really a thing of the past!! Don’t need em! Lots of merchandising roles out there and always will be!
There are plenty of jobs at stores stocking shelves.
That is what you do.
For people that have been around a while (and most are gone), good treatment of employees has been eroded away over the years for more profits. All while lots of other companies are going the other direction, better treatment of their employees. Kraft was a great company to work for, Mondelez may be the worst! People used to love their jobs! Start as a merchandiser and worn your way up. Now, under the Mondelez era, they can’t keep people! Nepotism is raging! People aren’t promoted based on their performance! Sad!
If you like it, stick around! Of you don’t, move on! There may not be another round of severances! They can do it in a manner that they are not obligated to payout any more severances. Take care of yourselves.

Not many companies have company cars left for their employees!
Companies are cutting costs and all the fat cats are getting richer!
It's an American problem!
The middle class is being eliminated!
Make what to can while you are here!
Take whatever severance package they offer next February 2025 and move on to bigger and better things.

Reps are gone next year I don't think it's really a question at this point. Ftows are the new "reps" which is why they want them writing all orders write now to learn. They may keep a few reps in new roles but it is what it is. Every company is looking for the cheapest way to operate.
Get out now, take control of your life!! There are certainly opportunities out there if you look, if you wait to get let go you will regret it, and that is most certainly coming!
