Retirees HRA Fund available in ViaBenefits

To those retirees out there, do you know how or when Ford will transfer the HRA funds to ViaBenefits so that we can use it to pay for our monthly healthcare premium?

I have asked NESC many time and no one can answer this question. Please let me know if your funds are available in ViaBenefits.

I have no funds in my Via Benefits and I can't get a hold of anyone from NESC to ask them about it. What is there to do?

You first need to request the HRA benefit..

Reoccurring premiums only need to be submitted once for the entire year. Cobra needs it every month. You may qualify for up to 18months of Cobra and it is by far the least expensive option for out of pocket costs. All other comparable plans have $9000/18000 out of pocket costs. There are other medical options out there but lots of hidden costs and unknowns.

You can now submit out of pocket expenses too.. Like Vision premiums, RX, Office visits...

Delta Dental has a combo Dental Vision plan that I will take once my Cobra runs out in Feb.

You have to set up your healthcare payments for the 1st of every month. Only after it’s paid, can you request your HRA benefit to be paid to you. You have to do it every month by taking a screenshot of the payment.
