Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Treatment needs to improve

My new boss has no clue promoted to her maximum potential of incompetence.
Layoffs once or twice a year.
Told 30-40 % below target.
Treated like sh-t.
Getting old very quickly. People leave our group all the time.

Look, read other posts, Ford does not care about their US employees. If you've been employed here for the last few years you would know this. Unless of course you drank the new hire kool-aid for far too long. In that case, welcome to reality.

There is no work for everyone. I signed up to do volunteering work at any community service locations each week. My boss is happy with what I am doing.

got to make Ford look good so people may buy our vehicles.

  1. Ford has been shipping work outside of the country and don't care about US employee's.
  1. Billy and Jimmy have been running a political company not a automobile company.
  1. Most new engineers don't care about solving problems but making as much money with as little work. They're very arrogant believing they should be LL5's and can't solve problems and have tantrums when challenged on performance.
  1. Supervision, LL6, LL5... are arrogant, lazy and lack any problem solving skills.

The Ford family TEAM cr-p has always been BS!!!

Morale is pathetically low at Ford and senior management keeps doubling/tripling down on treating employees like sh**. I’ve been at Ford 7+ years and I have never felt more unappreciated and mistreated. They are either completely out of touch or insanely callous.

I understand they want to identify and weed out the underperformers but even the good and great employees are being crushed by the negativity.
