Anyone get approved to pursue education? It used to be you could go anywhere do anything but now it seems your supervisor has to approve so good luck with there being a consistent approach to how the benefit is administered. Likely only those with sponsors can participate now.

I am seeking education reimbursement for hotel & restaurant management training at LaQuinta or The Men's Club.
If you do get approved read the fine print. You are signing yourself up for not leaving the company for several years unless you want to repay the costs. There are also tax implications.
