Does anyone know how hard TAC will be impacted by this?

DEI is more important than success

Your software has been garbage starting decades before DEI and given your inability to realize this you're more likely part of the problem than the solution.

TSIA should write an industry paper on how MM, TS and RB wrecked CX. It used to be one of the most formidable of differentiators for Cisco. CAP, TAC, AS are all a shell of what they used to be. Sad.

You're not wrong. There are actually quite good statistics to back this theory up--while sure, case volume would cause many cases to drag on, the overall work that gets done would not change at all.

Call it 80-20, Pareto, whatever you will. But 20% of the workforce is responsible for 80% of the output.

And judging based on the replies in this board, Cisco would benefit from dropping many of the leaches worried about whether they're going to get laid off. Layoffs are part of business--it su-ks--but companies aren't here for your well being, they're here to make a profit and as it stands Cisco's margins are low, and revenue has stagnated minus a few blips recovering from COVID. That's not a sign that Cisco can't innovate, it's a sign of market saturation and struggles breaking out of a historically network-only focus. CR and the ELT's only responsibility is to shareholders, unfortunate that may be, but profits are the only thing that matters.

We can sit and discuss the morality of them all we want and worry about whether we're next, but at the end of the day, companies survive layoffs because many of those that get laid off are leaches.

With our “leadership” you never know. But many teams are already under headcount as we speak. So if we want to go further down the spiral. Firing would be the thing to do :/

At least one grade level is being targeted under one VP.

Dump the +91's and the LATAM's and CSAT scores will skyrocket.

You could lay off 75% of TAC and no one including customers would notice a difference.
