Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Pay planning is starting today

FYI, managers were just given their budgets for pay planning today. meaning they are going to decided in the next few days who gets what in regards to raises bonus percentages etc.. they only have about a week to get all the info in and submitted.

also know that e-mails for "business updates" are being sent this week to people.. heard its going to be a big one again, mostly sales and leadership being cut. the support side side is having some as well but i havnet seen the numbers on those..

LTI gets planned by people higher up the chain. Probably L4/L5, though that varies. So, no real word on that. I haven't yet seen the budget but we've been continually cautioned that it's not great. I have numerous people waiting on promotions: I saw that there is no promotion budget, it's just part of the overall compensation adjustments. So, to promote someone, I would have to lower compensation for others.

How are budgets for it looking? Any LTI?

I'm not sure how it works in other segments of Dell, but for Dell Digital, pay planning starts--and ends--on February 5th. So, one day to do it all and get it all submitted.
