Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

that's enough

Must it be explained to Cisco that it reached the apex of lunatic effrontery when it began preventing us from recognizing the vast and incomparable achievements, contributions, and discoveries that are the product of our culture? Because it obviously doesn’t realize that if it truly believes that doing the fashionable thing is more important than life or liberty, then maybe it should enroll in Introduction to Reality 101. In light of my stance on this issue, it should stop telling everyone that its maledictions are innovative. More apt words for them might be static or stale or perhaps the phrase, been done with the possible addition, too often. What I’m getting at is that Cisco’s outrage at complaints about it is indicative of its self-esteem and value system. Here’s the lesson I want you to learn from that: Can and should are two different concepts. Can Cisco truck away our freedoms for safekeeping? Yes. Should it? Absolutely not. The ability to do a thing doesn’t make that thing right, nor does it imply that everything Cisco says is completely and utterly true. There isn’t enough psychiatric medication in the world to cure such madness, just like there isn’t any reason to doubt that the main dissensus between me and Cisco is that I profess that Cisco’s belief that inhumane schmucks should be forgiven for their featherbrained behavior because they were involuntarily reduced to wrongdoing is pure and total fantasy. It, on the other hand, avows that its prophecies surpass most intellectual discourse in terms of the cogency of what they promote and the morality of their implications. Don’t think about that lunacy for more than two seconds or you’ll risk realizing that Cisco’s obloquies are merely a stalking horse. They mask its secret intention to take the robes of political power off the shoulders of the few honest people who wear them and put them upon the shoulders of diversivolent, distasteful dingbats.

Maybe it’s a code. If you replace each word with some other word, it could make sense.

I worked for AppD and our golden metrics were: average response time, calls-per-minute, and maledictions-per-minute or MPM.

The one line of this that I did agree with was "there's not enough psychiatric medicine in the world..."

The individual seems extremely dissatisfied with Cisco's actions and attitudes, suggesting that they are out of touch with reality and are prioritizing popularity over principles. They disapprove of Cisco's claims of innovation, viewing them as stale and repetitive. They argue that Cisco's defense against complaints reflects its inflated self-esteem. They are also opposed to Cisco's ability to control freedoms, despite recognizing its power to do so. They disagree with Cisco's stance on overlooking the errors of 'inhumane schmucks,' calling it a fantasy. They also believe that Cisco's prophecies lack intellectual and moral depth. The individual ultimately accuses Cisco of attempting to seize political power for unqualified and distasteful individuals.
