The dead line for year-end review ends before comp conversations can start.

Plus, what is the rush? It is not like you will get paid any sooner, or that you can change how much it will be.

Relax, you will hear about it or not by end of next week. Either way expect to be disappointed.

Maybe next year (if any of us are still here), advise your manager that you will acknowledge the year-end review (the convo when you are told your rating and enter into the system) after the conversations (both the YE Review and Comp - why is it 2 diff convos anyway?) - are completed.

Their manager will see they have not completed YE Reviews by the deadline and they will have to explain that they have not completed their duties.

For any who have not had a convo -- has your manager spoken to you at all lately? Are they still here? Do they know you're still here? (are you still here?)

Just kidding... that is really cr-ppy. I realize comp decisions are rarely (if ever) in the hands of the manager (HR dictates to us), but that's no reason to dodge the conversation.

If they are a manager, then yea, they have to have The Conversation, even if it's not the message they want to deliver.

That's why they are A Manager!!! (all the rest of us do the actual work, so the least they could do is the administrative work they are expected - and paid - to do.

Yes. This is ridiculous. Never in my 25 years have i had to wait for a bonus call, especially when i “exceeded expectations”
