a 7 month off book date is not unheard of when engaging a managed services partner (infosys, hcltech, ibm, etc). They want the VZ employees to train their replacements in exchange for the severance.

I was impacted and had zero clue who HCL was until I googled it. So… dunno how it will impact that group. We didn’t have any knowledge of them previously.

Human Resources and Training will now get an Indian accent moving to HCLTech. Largest cut ever and those left will be leveling up their HCLTech counterparts. This time next year, Verizon will be a mostly Indian company.

I heard L&D for VCG, B2B, Ops on my call. Moving those groups to India and Philippines. Not sure what percentage/how many/all or what. Or if that’s all that’s happening right now or other groups, too.
