The day they award that sweet, sweet dividend money!
What does it have to do with layoffs? not a darn thing, except that I was laid off and still reap the wf rewards.

Seems selling WFC and buying JPM would be a smarter alternative. Then you get better returns + your valuable dividend. Doesn’t seem to make any sense to be holding WFC.
Jp Morgan hit a new high...I can't imagine holding stock in this garbage. Worse...the firm offers no incentive to purchase it. Other quality firms like Walmart offer ESPP and give incentives. Wells is a terrible firm.
"Dividend doesn't get paid until March 1st, not February 1st. February 1st is the ex-dividend date. If you're really no longer with the company, stop letting WF live rent free in your head. Use your brain for research instead."
Yes, I know that, Feb 1 is the day they determine what you get paid based on what you are holding. and wf isn't 'living rent free in my head', I just watch the crying on this website and compare it to the free money I get every quarter. retirement will do that to you. :)

Only a fool holds WF stock. Dumped WF ESOP and doubled in other stocks since then.
If they're paying the dividend then bonus checks roll in which way is the stock going 60 very soon!!
I predict that the stock will be under 40 and never over 60.
To be happy with a dividend as small as that, you must be holding a lot of WF stock, like 1 million worth of stock would give you 7k. And that's pre tax. Not life changing dividend.
I hope you’re not holding WF stock
