No. You should put your effort toward applying at other, better run, companies.

Right?! please read the previous posts...if you don't get the answers you prefer...likely not a good question to be asking.
Your PR rating has already been decided even though your boss may not talk to you. So, it won’t affect your last year’s rating, but, get ready for retaliation for this year’s rating.
You need to be less impulsive. Have you talked to your current leader about an interest to move? If not this is not going to go well. There is stuff that goes on in the background before a move can happen, ie it’s not just the hiring manager but in most instances up to the LL3 or LL2.
