The 2023 STI doc says individual modifier can be up to 150%, which I can only assume would be linked to a 5 rating.
My question is, is 100% attached to a 3 or a 4? If you know all the data, please share.

The leading rating at 150% is misleading because when mixed with the 109% it’s 129.5% which is still good. Congratulations to all four of you that got it.
OP must be a band 5 or has heard about the changes. Band 5 has a 5-level rating this year, which will apply to band 6 next year.
for most employees, employee portion is 50%, company portion is 50%. So 50% is based on the note from HR that we hit 109%. The other 50% is based on what your mgr gave you. As noted a P rating could be between 90-115%.
@1frj+1qSJu1pW D is developing, N is New/Not rated
@1bag+1qSJu1pW untrue this year. This year the managers did the planning. Yes, there is a range they need to stay within for each rating, but they definitely had discretion. If your manager said otherwise, they were either lying or their immediate supervisor took over their planning for them.
@ggz - managers no longer have discretion over STI amounts. The amount is set based on rating. Been that way for about 3 years now
@ggz+1qSJu1pW: what does D and N stand for?
First of all, there is no 5 rating. There is P, D, N, L. The majority of employees end up as P. The ranges previously stated are correct for P and L. The exact % awarded within that range is at manager discretion. Communications typically start around a week before the check date, which is the 23rd.
Company 50% - 109% = 54.5%
Performance 50% base on Rating | STI Multiplier:
Performing | 90%-115%
Leading | 115%-150%
Ex: Individual gets Performing and management gives you 110%
Total bonus is 110.5% = 54.5% + 55%
Unless they changed something it isn’t a strict number it is a percentage range. You’ll find out in a couple weeks so just hold off on that big purchase.
You didn't give happy ending your Out
There is no rule for that level of granularity unless the Director makes one for the Managers to follow. There are 3 ratings and a % range allowable for each. Performing could be anywhere between 90 to 115%, before the multiplier.
