If it's true that the coming layoffs will last for three months (!), I am not staying here and losing that much time stressing over the job in the company which stopped being worth it. I have been working here for years, and witnessing the decline hasn’t been fun. I used to enjoy work, now it is all a drag that I see no end to. Better risk it and find new work I can feel good about.

HR is trying to save money from severance payouts by posting here for us to quit. What a joke. You’re going to need to pay me to leave while I continue to not work because decisions can’t be made.

I have a very toxic manager at work. She know nothing about anything. I like to show up to work and put just 15 minutes of work and collect my paycheck! This is my way of revenge! I cannot talk to her because she lashes out! But I secretly do nothing at work. It is now 5 years!

The OP does not understand how d-mb this is to quit now instead of waiting for the chance to be laid off. Look for a job now, collect your pay checks, accept an offer, then quit. If you just quit you lose unemployment benefits, severance pay. Show up to work with little effort and get paid to look for a new job.

If you have any years of service you’re better off quite quitting. Managing you out will take longer than the layoff timeframe.

The financial situation tends to be better if you’re laid off than if you quit. You must not have long term incentives in your package
