Sub pay pay stub

I noticed on my first sub pay, as expected no 401k deductions, no HSA deductions, no social security deduction, etc. BUT there is no money taken out for benefits. Shouldn’t there be. I emailed the separation email and have not yet got a straight answer.

@ifx, I think you mean w4, not w2. And you could always pay in quarterly on your own.

Thanks for the last response. I wasn’t aware that benefits were once per month will check that going forward.

You should get benefits deducted. Aren't they done just once per month? In terms of 401k, no longer an option, but HSA is. For HSA, if they don't take it out, you can always send in directly.

Make sure you get federal taxes withheld or you will end up owing money next year. I had to send them a new W2 because nothing was being withheld. I didn't notice it until a few pays later.

Call the number listed in the docs. The people that answer the email have no idea and gave me false info.

Thank you @ffo+1qSjjbjK. Yes, my personal data sheet states benefits for the duration of sub payments. I double checked my paystub and nothing is listed for a benefits deduction. I will keep mailing BNYM until I get an answer. Thanks again!

When I was laid off, all of my SUB paystubs reflected a Benefits deduction.

Were you definitely offered continued benefits in your conversation with your manager and on the separation docs? I am assuming you were, so, yes, you definitely want to get to the bottom of this.
