Should have left years ago, but like many here just got comfortable. My pay increase the last 4 years has been 1% per yr, and i would say inflation over that time where i live is about 25% for rent/food/medical. I feel extremely abused here and taken advantaged of. Option 1 quit next Monday and have them pay out my accrued pto
Option 2 take a week off and think about it
Option 3 zone out like team India, put out garbage work and hope for a package.

Sometimes, unless you leave, it is tough to focus on a job search.
On the flip side, it is a risk.
If you can risk time w/o a new job, leave.
If not, stay quiet, plan and then leave.
Option 4 is best ( see below) if you can.
first determine if waiting for a package is worth it. If you haven't been at Wells "Long... over 5 years then start looking for a job now.
Option 3. Learn how to quietly quit.
It means being "d-mb as sh..t" while at the "wells" job. Extend current skills and acquire new ones. Learn how to use chatGPT. Maybe even develop a business on the side.
Option 3. Quiet Quit all the way. I have worked for this company for almost 25 years. You are NOT special. You are an employee id with badge swipes.
Let us know how your debate ends next week. Thank you for the build up, this is going to be exciting!
What kind of an id--t would voluntarily just leave a job without having another one lined up?
Option 3 all the way. Just start looking, check out of this BS, and make them pay you a severance to leave.
Option 3 if you can hold out.
Option 2 if you can't.
Do your best to avoid Option 1. Keep taking their $$$, and hopefully get severance package. You've earned it.
Option 4: put your energy into finding a new gig while still collecting your paycheck.
