I was laid off on 2/5. Pittsburgh. Based on the “here’s who was let go and who wasn’t” thing that they give you at separation it looks like 5-8% or so. I saw it coming, as there wasn’t nearly enough business coming in for my specialty area to justify more than one person in my role, and I was the new guy.
Definitely Pittsburgh layoffs. Happened in my group. You wouldn't see the layoffs if people were laid off remotely.
Confirmed, layoffs occured today. Only know of PITT location at this point.
Where do you see them?
On the backend, I see about 60 terms for Feb 5 2024
What groups are seeing layoffs?
Lol. In a group that is so over worked weekend mandatory overtime was communicated. Then Monday comes and they layoff team member. Nothing like setting up to succeed.
The President’s Day comment
It’s happened here in Pittsburgh the last few years I’ve been here, aside from 2021 when they said no layoffs were happening
There has never been a “Traditional layoff after Presidents’ Day”. People here are just making sh1t up. Darn near everyone is just blowing smoke here.

Traditionally they’ve done their big cut the day after Presidents Day..so who knows
That being said, I’d gladly take being laid off right now
There are some people that know their department is going away in the US so yes there are layoffs happening for some people. Unfortunately upper management is not giving us a timeframe so all we can do is worry about when it is going to happen.
There are so many layoffs and layoffs rumors every single day on this form. When is it going to stop? When there’s no employees left to layoff?!
Are they going to just keep laying off until there are the lowest number of domestic employees possible remaining to keep the doors open? Is that the plan?
January layoffs had around 1100 individuals globally.. I'm sure the next "big" one will be Q2 April
I didn’t hear anything about next week. I am hearing late April / early May could be the next bigger wave of layoffs.
