Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Corporate Risk

Watch out for Tuesday if you fall under the corporate risk umbrella. Big cuts are headed that way including low level managers.

Almost go time. Good luck to those that want it and to those that don’t. May the lord be with you tomorrow.

DF's is the only corporate risk. As long as they keep moving the goal post risk will continue to be needed.

I can’t believe some of those dimwits in audit risk review haven’t already been canned. They couldn’t identify risk if it smacked them on the face. Can’t comprehend basics and just waste company resources.

Two friends of mine are in Risk. I can't believe what they get paid. They brag all the time about doing nothing and getting high salaries w/huge bonuses.

Same as 1@sk, seriously considering leaving for many reasons. Have a career change track lined up just need the time to execute. I would gladly go quietly.

It's a mistake to assume that Hudson Yards cares about regulatory issues. They really don't, or, perhaps, they are so incompetent that no one can tell the difference. The results are the same though.

@1ysr -

The plan is for AI and the offshore replacements to take care of any regulatory corncerns. They still haven’t figured out that pesky SAR/UAR information stays onshore issue.

The government does not have to approve WF displacements in risk. Also, India has been staffed up in those roles for some time now.

Not happening...we are still under a ton of regulatory scrutiny and the government would have to approve plans.

I do and am crossing my fingers for a pink slip. Had planned to quit Monday but I suppose that, with the help of several martinis and maybe an edible Monday night, I can hang on until Tuesday afternoon.
