Consumer Lending/CMS location strategy

So some groups (CSBB, WIM, etc.) listed markets as metro areas (technical term) and other didn't, so no one knows where they stand.

e.g. Specialty market listed as San Francisco-Oakland-Berkeley. Is it just those cities or is it the metro market (which includes Concord)? There's significant group of of Merchant Services folks in Concord.

Move the line in CL has happened (over this last weekend). And while you may not be getting official communications regarding CL/CMS location strategy (I’m not either) - it is on CL teamworks as of the 5th.

There are specific buildings in each market.

For SF the buildings are 420 Montgomery, 333 market, and concord

Anything else is being exited.

Rumors about concord being shut down have been circulating forever.

What building you have to be in is determined by you LOB

@khp
"this has been talked about a couple times in recent weeks"

No, it hasn't.

Also, you might be aware that many under Consumer Lending are still not getting ANY of the communications (Kleber, Ray, etc.) bc the move the line to CL still hasn't happened.

p.s. It's "vice" (not "vise")

this has been talked about a couple times in recent weeks. it is the Metro area which does include Concord but that doesn't mean they will keep folks in Concord. your group may want everyone in SF and vise versa

Great question, I feel the San Francisco metro area includes Concord as Concord has a significant amount of employees, second most behind SF in the Bay Area. I think it depends on your line of business. For WIM, the San Francisco market area didn't specifically state what metro areas were covered, but given the sheet amount of WIM folks in Concord, it has be to under the umbrella of the SF metro area. For other lined of business, I'm not sure.
