Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Bonus = GETTING BONED

Was told today we are only getting 84% of our Target bonus..... it is calculated on.....EBIT Margin 40%, Customer Experience 30%, EV Volume 20%, and Revenue Growth 10%..... as a GRS I have no say in any of that Bull Sh-t.... UAW Getting $10,500 and they just got I think 5K for contract.

Why do you think it's called "bone us"?

You all need to leave the company if you don't like how Ford is treating you. There are better opportunities outside of Ford.

@ 1sju - my understanding is the merit pool is 6%. Which means that they take the salaries of all GSR -LL5 and times if by 6%. That amount is what they have to provide in merits. The amount is broken down by division, skill teams, teams, whatever and the employee gets a %. There is also a formula based on your rating and where you land in your salary band. If you are under midpoint and at target you’d get more than someone with the same rating and over midpoint. They try to move everyone to the middle. Managers don’t have a lot of wiggle room to adjust the formula. Typically the Merit pool is under 3%

Was it a merit increase of 6% or 6% of the budget allocated for merit increases? The wording threw me off.

Lawler included model-e when informing profits up $2b from businesses but did not highlihht model-e really dragged down $4.7b. Also he highlighted declined in pension income. Is it possible that they are coming after the pensions of fords most loyal, dedicated and skilled / talented workers?

But hey, at least they can pay a special dividend.

Because we all know who has monster amounts of shares…the execs. And the board.

Go ahead and quit. GM has been paying better bonuses for years. If you want the GM bonus, go work there.

I'm honestly surprised we are getting 84%. I assumed we'd get much lower due to the UAW strike. After Q2 we were on pace for 106% bonus but that dropped to 83% after Q3. I was expecting us to get 70% bonus so 84% is better than expected.

Back right around 1999 and 2000 we got the biggest profit sharing we had ever received, I am sure management didnt want that to happen again. Really want to get upset, start investigating bonus (yep different than profit sharing) and profit sharing for those north of LL6. Better to not worry about others pay and just keep doing your job.

You could always join the UAW; that plant work isn't easy.
