Ford has twice as many vps and top executives than GM Even though GM is twice the size of Ford. So our bonus need to pay for them all and you know they are getting more than 100%, just like before. They need to be compensated for the grate job they are doing. ( I guess we are comparative In high ranks with head count. oh wait that don’t apply to them. )

Also Alan Mullally also whittled away at the bonus calculation
Their formula or calculation maybe NA based profit vs. Global like Fords. Prior to 2000CY both salaries and hourly were NA based profits. When Jac the Kn--e came in Ford salaried transitioned to a more global standard which saw the decline in the bonus pay outs.
GM's bonus targets are 25% - 50% higher, and their performance factor is much better.

Because they complain 2x-3x LESS than Ford salaried.
Because they didn't buy a Train Station, Church, or invest buku bucks into the Dearborn Transformation Campus, a fortress in Mexico, a 4000+ cafeteria seating/child care faciity in India.
Bc GM builds more cars in Mexico and Ford thinks people care more about blue collar workers than white collar workers, and will associate Ford as more American if they produce more vehicles in the US
