Ironically, one of my India peers just requested functionality that will cost our entire group our jobs. He thought it would make it easier to do our jobs but it's already translated into a management deck that makes not needing us the ultimate goal.
My manager doesn't see this being the end goal and is trying to blame it on the middle-management being too new to the organization to understand how things work rather than seeing it as a way for them to show cost savings and move themself up the ladder.
Thankfully, with how bad WF is at implementing automation, it will take a year or two.

Shart was literally asked if we would expand globally and he said no flat out, because we’re an American bank with no international branches and that sites we did have were more supportive in nature. A few months later the entire HR and legal departments were doing research per request to see if there were ANY facet of WF that would be prohibited from being outsourced.
