Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

No RTO reports since Workday

Lmfao! That is exactly what I expect from ATT.

Automate it, then it breaks, then it never gets fixed.

You can’t make this sh-t up!

The data is still available. Not sure why you don’t realize that.

If there’s a system(like e-link) that works perfectly and is easy to use, T always sc--ws it up with some cr-ppy new system like workday. If it ain’t broke, then fix it until it is broke has always been T’s motto.

  • “My supervisor continues to review WFH reports with team members weekly.”

So you come into the office just to then go over the reports about coming into the office?

Sounds about Stankey, tbh.

Why?
Don’t they have anything better to do?

After 27 years of WFH, stick your RTO. I'll quit first.

Meanwhile they’re managing by fear. “Live your designation”. @@

My director, who doesn’t care about RTO reporting told us he did try to run a report just to see what it looks likes. Reports won’t run, they are failing. He did say he knows that who’s looking is entirely erratic…some VP’s and Directors care and many don’t. Also said no one is looking at anything beyond swipes…

The biggest problem here is trying to get your arms around the ever increasing number of platforms that require integration. You don't need 2 - 3 software packages to do your contract management, purchasing, and AP when there are several ERPs that can do all 3. It's gotten way out of hand.

I don’t really understand the connection, as the reports I had seen last year were independent of any HR systems…?

Not sure I buy this.

If, as a company, we were actually any good at compiling multiple sources of data from different platforms, sanitizing that data, and turning it into useful decision-making information, do you think we'd be in this situation over and over and over again? Whatever our core competency might be, it's not integrating data effectively.
