Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

There was a time when AT&T treated me well

Too bad its been decades since that's been true. How the mighty have fallen.

“Want to move up in NJ”

If you have been here decades, time to retire. Give someone else a chance.

Really leave.

Hey bud, you missed the memo, no promotions outside of Dallas. It’s not the more experienced people holding you back, it’s your leadership. Ah never mind, you know it all already.

My legacy company was good to work for. Then we became SBC. Sodo--zed By Cowboys.

South Central Bell and BellSouth were good to work for. AT&T, not so much.

Remember when AT&T was a "blue chip" stock?

Been awhile. Won't happen again.

John is awesome. Not sure why a minority of this forum feel otherwise.

Stink is just the latest iteration, and admittedly the worst in history, of Toxic-T mismanagement.

Toxic-T has been mistreating employees since shortly after divestiture. I would often see grown men sitting on the curb outside the building on Friday afternoon stating they received a phone call from their boss that their job was now in (name state clear across the country) 8 AM Monday morning, if they still wanted it.

But Stink is at a whole different level. There is a reason Stink is at the top spot of the CEO Wall of Shame. They only thing the Stink is #1 at.
