Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Commercial Real Estate & RTO

RTO is part of a larger issue with commercial real estate. Stankey and his cohort stand to lose if commercial real estate falters.

That's what they care about, not loyal workers who built their lives around remote work but are suddenly told they can't continue doing the work from home because.....we said so, and we need you to fill the auditorium when we bring the hot-pepper pajama show.

People will do what they do regardless if in the office or not in the office it makes no difference. Professionals will behave the same regardless. Managers need to be aware of productivy in their organization and who is producing and whom is not.

"if commercial real estate falters"

News bulletin - it has faltered, which means that AT&T can offload its real estate for 50¢ on the dollar. Look at all the money they poured into their new headquarters. Some of this RTO is the company saying to itself "We're not as stupid as we look". 😉
