Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

CSBBO

Location Strategy sites will be emailed on Monday,

San Antonio
West Lake
Phoenix
Roanoke

are pretty much safe and all the other sites will be closed in a 2-4 year timeframe. Only some will be asked to relocate based off performance.

Heh, wouldn't be the first time WF threw away a bunch of money before shutting it down. Seen it before. Execs are fickle beasts and have no problem spending other people's money on their hot new / great idea.

Roanoke is not safe. The candidate pool isn’t there. Glen Allen is not safe either. Jobs at these sites are redundant and based in Charlotte or SA.

Speaking of - do you want to take a year off, or get a new job right away and take the severance as a lump sum?
Both are interesting ideas

It's wortg mentioning the following, CSBBO has only been and is hiring in the locations that will remain open it was also said during the meeting after the location strategy plan is enforced they will be bringing everyone back into the office no more WFH but to only focus on Location Strategy and not to mention the phasing out of WFH for now.

They keep saying 2-4 years time but I'd be surprised if Oregon even makes it to the end of the year...

It took them almost 18 months to shut down the Greenville, NC location.

Remember CSBBO has rolled up to the COO and is now Consumer Operations.

I find it hard to believe that they will wait 2 years before they start closing the rest of the centers down.
