Misleading hiring posts

It’s really disingenuous of the company to continue the layoff of existing employees through PIP, while advertising LCS hiring on LinkedIn. Building false impression in media about the state of company. Anyone looking will see the most hiring occurs in low cost countries. How else will the company get structural costs down? There are few job posting in high cost countries and these jobs require very specific skills. People are fighting over crumbs to save themselves in the next performance review. LCS has many fake it until you make it types that spout bad advise. Don’t be fooled. Don’t be one of them.

Just keep building real skills, love what you do, and you will be employable anywhere.

Let me tell you what the company focus is. We spelled it out here during the recent Corporate Plan update. Pay close attention to the structural cost line and deduce your own conclusions

"- On track to deliver ~$14 billion of further earnings and cash flow growth potential over the next four years

  • Expecting capital investments to generate average returns of ~30%, with payback periods less than 10 years for greater than 90% of the capex
  • Pursuing more than $20 billion in lower emissions opportunities, up $3 billion
  • Generated $9 billion in structural cost savings with $6 billion more expected by 2027
  • Increasing pace of share repurchases to $20 billion per year from the Pioneer close through 2025, assuming reasonable market conditions

Yeah. Dan The Man duped poor Durwood into hiring him to burn billions in capital. What a disaster this will be for EM. Dan The Man will eventually be run off but with tens of millions in his pocket.
