What are the salary limits on getting raises?

I’m around $220k, is this too high for raise?

Each job profile w/I a job family has a level- why are the pay ranges not shared to staff? After 20 years in, does an employee make less than the new hire? If it smells shady, and looks shady…

and let's not forget the 20%+ increase in health insurance some of us higher earners are stuck with. Boohoo us all you want, but we worked hard to get our incomes up and make too little for any tax benefits and too much for any tax loopholes.

Ever since Shart took over, those making over 150k, especially those over 175/200, have got very little merit. And other previous benefits like profit sharing…gone. Only Shart gets to make millions and still get raises

I'll also point out that if you are over 250K the merit budget does not include you,.so whatever the overall % is, which this year is a hair over 3% I think, your groups overall merit pool is calculated only on those 250k is getting a merit there are a lot of people <250k getting less

On any payroll AU somebody is not getting a raise. The person most above the middle pay for the grade gets nothing. It is loaded that way and cant be changed without going up two levels for approval. I got a raise last year for the first time in 5 years likely because my boss combined several AUs and somebody in one of them makes more than me.

OP sounds like a good cost cutting opportunity.

@fhh+1qbN8eR0 Ha, I'm no where near the salaries listed here but I do have enough self-awareness to know that, in general, most people are worth what they are paid or more. Even the cuck'd out C-Suite, I don't like it but they get paid commensurate with the level of exposure. Each position could be their last if there was the right scandal or misstep so why not demand high remuneration for the level of risk? You'd be up there dealing with our complaints for $150k/yr? :D

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Join the game if you think it's ripe for the pickings.

The pick is too close to call. It's a coin flip.

250k is supposed to be the cap without needing to have a really good reason. that said, I've found that once over 175k they usually give you the bare minimum if anything. they say they'll make it up with bonus l,.but that doesnt happen either.

I cannot believe how many positions we have in this company that pay such exorbitant salaries. I guarantee you're not worth it.

Not even the preacher's wife could say no to sleeping with another man if the price was right.

Preacher could watch, or not watch, his choice.

He'll watch. Just like all men would.

It’s 250 this year. Still always discretionary, but I’d expect one.

Haven’t got a raise since I eclipsed 175k or so. All increases have been by obtaining new jobs

I am at 400k and I will get a raise and a bonus. But then I realized I am a dreamer, like you.
