Intel doesn’t know but they are the luckiest company.
If it was t for a bunch of bozos at IBM that selected them over the z80 or 6800 Intel would be irrelevant.
Nvidia has had the best GPU on the market since 2008 or so. They’re aren’t lucky, they’re the best in class. I don’t see any DEI nonsense from them.
The one got laid off 😩 because of GPU failure comment about the King of GPU and AI. So sick and hopefully not get laid off again because of AI everywhere failure 😫
Intel really sunk its own ship. All damage to Intel was self-inflicted.

Wall Street investors are not stupid people to bet their money on lucky companies. They put their money on good and successful companies with profits. Unfortunately, Intel is in debt with high interest and buring cash so it has to commit shameful crime to lay off its family.

If nVidia is lucky for anything it's their competition that fell out of a tree and landed on their heads.
Intel golden time is gone with the wind. It is time for new golden players come on stages and the clown 🤡 still want to jump in and take a lead.
Pat must have landed AMD as a fab customer and that's why he is bravely pushing Nvidia aside. We'll see in Jan 2024 what this bravado is all about.

Was Intel “lucky” to land the IBM PC in the 80s cementing a software compatibility advantage that was all but impossible to overcome in PCs (still to this day as x86).

Nvidia is going to win for the same reasons Intel won the PC.
You may get “lucky”… it’s what you do with that “luck” that either makes you a leader or brings your business FUBAR. Guess on which caml INTC is?!?
