Frontline worker already getting paid. They stay and complain knowing they are well paid.

Stankey acts like he is “king of the world” at the helm of the titanic. AT&T is a cash cow. The network runs. The customers pay. Not rocket surgery. Fire 90% of headquarters and overhead teams. Spread their pay amongst the frontline workers.

It is no great secret AT&T is massively top heavy. The problem is, who is going to decide to cut those below. Cut some L3's, less L4's are needed. Less L4's are needed, less L5's are needed.
Now we start getting into the protected class. They are invaluable some kind of way.

I soil my sheets when I hear the word "debt."

You soil your sheets when your wife leaves for work every morning, knowing the fact that she is getting tuned up every day, and not by you.

Soiled sheets. This leadership and board are good at sheeting the bed.

More incentive to move into management. You don’t have to track it and it’s unlimited as long as your job gets done.
