Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Banks cut over 60,000 jobs in 2023 (under reporting)

Were it not for UBS/Credit Suisse and WF's inaccurate figures, WF would have been #1. In 2024, WF definitely will be.

Someday, they likely will. Let's not pretend that those in the ivory tower care about Indian employees.

They should pull out of India and go somewhere even cheaper.

As alwaus, mass offshoring is being swept under the rug.

Reporters are paid off or are not seeing the forest through the trees. Tired of the shell game of deflection on the topic.

At this massive scale, THAT s/b the focus of these articles.

The numbers to watch is the total # of domestic employees. In some of their comments the execs are talking about total headcount and there's been a lot of games where they displace 1000 people in the US, but hire nearly that many overseas at the same time so it doesn't look like much has changed, but it has. They're on a mission to get rid of all of us.
