Can someone explain how it happens? I got meets expectations mid year but tbh I don’t know about full year and I know my LL6 is a POS and might throw me under the bus.

@3ykq+1qinbMuQ There is no requirement that your LL6 put you on a PIP.
The miserable sort you describe has a tendency to “fire for cause” or stuff your name on the cut list.
Suggest you cut bait as chronic complainers and blamers rarely change.
Look for another position. If you do it within Ford be careful as this sort tends to sabotage your Ford career.
They’ve changed the PIP process. They shortened the length and offer the option of not going through the process and taking the severance. I don’t recall all the details but you can look for the process online.
I suggest you get ur resume ready and start applying to new positions. It will be good practice and help u prepare just in case. Also, there will be another layoff so if you aren’t placed on a PIP, you could be put on the list for being laid off.
Do your best but prepare for the worst
What if my LL6 is a liar? I don’t trust a word he says.
How much time would I have after getting the informal warning? Every one on one we have he always complains about this or that and never values my work or things that go well
It depends how much your boss wants you gone.
There is an informal coaching process that can be conducted between you and your LL6 (it's not a formal PIP). If they like you, they may try to legitimately help you improve and once that process is complete and you're successful, you may never hear about it again. If that process fails, then a formal PIP may be instituted. At this point, know you're on your last leg.
Best bet? Ask open and honest questions with your boss. Let them know you'd like to make sure you're always growing and want to make sure you can contribute the value they need from you, if not more. This, to me, is just part of being an adult with a job. Don't let them surprise you. Control the conversation and ask them to help give you constructive feedback to grow in the new year. This also fuels a healthy relationship. If the boss is decent, they will return the favor and invite you to share with them ways they can support you better. Be prepared with a few ideas of what you might like more of, just in case.
Ford is known by the men it keeps.
Look around and decide if you want to be known by the company you keep, if not make an exit plan
I do a lot of work, but always watch your back.
When the higher ups target you, destroy them by fear and te---r by bombardment of legal actions from all directions.
Leave no we-pons untouched and unleash all the terrible things in this world upon them like Saruman the White, it is entirely justified because the person initiating this awakes the Balrog asleep deep underneath and they will pay the price. It isn't a matter of employment, but power leverage and you have to show, once you have the Ring, forged by all horrible things known to human beings, no one is in control anymore, but all possessed by demon burning in the fire of he-l.
It is merely an approach to get your point delivered, and remember my words, the more extreme it is, the more effective it is. You cannot be defeated by no one but yourself in this way.
Dont listen to @ppg. This guy sounds like one of those letigious aholes who makes a living out of filing law suits, but doesnt actually do any real work. In other words, a scammer.
I suggest you talk to a lawyer now and sue them as a pre-caution, or file a complaint to DOL or EEOC
and when they retaliate, sue them more. and company has legal counsels also, and when you see their names, sniff for non-compliance and when you find any, go after their license for misconduct. Bury them with bombardment of lawsuits, 20 lawsuits to start, top to 300 cases! Let's see if they can fight back afterwards.
The bus comes twice yearly; recommend you don your raincoat and just JUMP UNDER IT this time 🫡👍
