LOL @bjh since when has Ford openly admitted a problem? The lawyers and bean-counters decide when financially it behooves Ford to admit there are problems, if ever.

I can remember showing an older gentleman in my group this interactive graph I built that mined data from multiple data sources at the request of a manager. The older gentleman asked me “now what do you suppose the usefulness of this interactive graph would be?”. It threw me for a loop as I had only focused on the technical challenges. I sat with it overnight and realized its only possible use was cost-benefit analysis. And I realized why the older gentleman had declined to do the work, by claiming he couldn’t figure out how to do it.
What do you think EV's were always going to be???....more control over your driving in reference to recording speed data, stopping your vehicle when needed, updates...
More control just like China...
Just more media hit pieces against Ford. Don't put much attention into made up drama like this. If this was a real issue, Ford would release a statement officially.
