My skills have actually degraded even more since I started working here. Im having to realize that this company is just full of BSers and paper pushers ( LL6s especially)
Getting another job will require BSing really hard during interviews.

“ The company IS full of paper pushers and BS'ers...that's a given. But that's not why your skills have degraded. If you have let your skills degrade and think it's Ford's (or any employers) fault” is Correct.
Your outlook reminds me of my child’s who was angry that after many years in the “resource room” in school she still couldn’t do math. 🥺
OP,
Unless your just looking to lash back, would define that poster as a simp...lol..an a--hole maybe, but a simp no. Simps tend to blame others which given the sentiment of that post, sounds like they are advocating against. I'd tend to think your just butt hurt that someone pointed out something obvious to you.
@pgx+1qoLZBua is a simp.
This is exactly what i am doing.
I am doing the absolute bare minimum and applying for outside jobs
If I were you. I would milk the company as long as you can and work on your skills for another position with a different company. WFH.
I'm sorry to hear that. Sorry to here that you didn't have the personal initiative to keep yourself sharp. Quit blaming Ford for the discipline you lack. Not Ford's problem that you'll have to BS your way through an interview. That's on you. The company IS full of paper pushers and BS'ers...that's a given. But that's not why your skills have degraded. If you have let your skills degrade and think it's Ford's (or any employers) fault, then it's likely you'll be at Ford until they tell you to leave. Hopefully you see it as a possibility to accept the blame for your inaction (because blaming Ford gets you nothing) and get going doing what you know needs to be done.
