@1xgs That is true, especially if they come from anyone named Ford and Model e.
Ford can get rid of 30% salary employees and the company will be just fine.
Honestly...if Ford canned you...I don't see why they would be on your short list unless you absolutely couldn't find other work. I'd take a pay cut before I'd go back to an employer that I had that experience with. Not worth your peace.
Don't worry about it. If it happens then just get another job somewhere else.
Only a dummy would target their former employer as primary for a job search.
Their are thousands of places to work and remember you are treated as a human being at a smaller place. They may even get to remember your name.
I’ve never heard of a company like Ford that says, “Well, we canned your bμtt to cut costs, but you can’t apply for other jobs at Ford.” That’s just insane.
