Honestly...if Ford canned you...I don't see why they would be on your short list unless you absolutely couldn't find other work. I'd take a pay cut before I'd go back to an employer that I had that experience with. Not worth your peace.

Only a dummy would target their former employer as primary for a job search.

Their are thousands of places to work and remember you are treated as a human being at a smaller place. They may even get to remember your name.

I’ve never heard of a company like Ford that says, “Well, we canned your bμtt to cut costs, but you can’t apply for other jobs at Ford.” That’s just insane.
