Suggestion to investors: Fire Sri Hosakote immediately and hire someone who can lead. This guy simply can't. He is full of it. Otherwise, all your money will go down the toilet. Do not thank me.

It turns out that many of the promised features were either not implemented or never tested.

To be fair that was XR culture which started above Hosakote. Like everyone in that world who was rewarded for bad behavior they are likely to continue making the same mistakes.

He is not competent at development. He has various biases. He is not trustworthy. That he was a person of note at Cisco was a sign of things to come for Cisco.

I agree with the previous author. Sri Hosakote is as toxic as it gets. He has absolutely zero leadership skills. Typical toxic useless manager from Cisco. This company has no future.

Talking about Sri, I remember the scene that he, Pankaj, and Chambers were dancing on the stage for the celebration of ASR9K reaching 1B (culumitive and projected) mark. Only nine months later, the sh-t hits the fan. It turns out that many of the promised features were either not implemented or never tested. So much about the integrity of these leaders now at Nile Security!!!

Standard Sri Hosakote thing - give me the feature list and I will grind it out in India. He doesn't know how to actually build teams or SW, only how to grind.

Their hardware is generic ODM cr-p. The only thing interesting is their NAAS model, and that is wrecked by their inability to work well with channel partners.

Basically it's a trainwreck. Had they done something interesting - ANYTHING interesting - they could have been the next Meraki, but instead it's at the Cisco India level of quality and implementation - that is, bad.

I have two friends that work there. It’s a sweat shop.
